AAGateWay is a small and simple utility which will allow you to use a TV Stick or old Android Phone, as a Wifi receiver for your Android Auto compatible car. The app basically will bring wireless connection to existing Android Auto units, with the help of an auxiliary unit.
Version 1.0 Beta RC3 on 01.13.2019
- Tweaks to try prevent app being killed by OS due to mainly background activity
- Fixed crash on "OK Google"
- Fixed Toggle options on Slave
- Added option for master IP (to be used over a WiFi router rather then Tethering)

Not working... :( AAGateWay just crash everytime when I'm trying to connect slave with my car. I got message from radio composition: 'Please check If your phone support AndroidAuto.' When I uninstalled AAGateWay AndroidAuto is working normally. Dissapointed... :(( Slave: rooted Samsung S4, master: UnRooted Samsung S7

Works amazing for me!! Minor skipping of music occasionally and sometimes I have to reboot the slave device to get it to work again, but the app is still in beta! Can't wait for a stable release. Using: Master- Galaxy S8+ (8.0 no root) Slave- Galaxy S6 Edge (7.0 no root) Car system- Chevy MyLink

Latest beta (RC1) works great. No root required on devices I use for this.
